The Lowly Laundry Basket

This laundry basket was made way back in the good ole days when things were built to last.

My husband bought this in his military days . That would be somewhere around 1988. When my youngest daughter moved from our house here to the family farm last year, she took it with her and used it for baby laundry. It rode out an F5 tornado on April 27th, that leveled the farmhouse. Somehow, this lowly laundry basket made it through unscathed. She is still using it here to carry her laundry to our new clothesline. I wish I knew how many loads of laundry this faithful laundry basket has held for us.

Oh, how I wish one could find that kind of quality today.
