Last week at a glimpse

Good evening friends and family,

I have been so very busy this week. It has been wonderful and I am worn out!

I enjoyed caring for my neice once again. she is 23 months old now and she can repeat anything you ask her to as well as express plenty of her own thoughts. We had a great time. We did many things, such as, feed the birds, dig in the garden, and hunt lizards. She is feeding herself now and her favorite food is yogurt so you can imagine how many clothes we go through. She is so funny and cute! Despite my worries about being able to handle it all, the Lord managed it just fine.

I also babysat my grandson a couple of times for my daughter and son in love to go hiking. It was great fun! I told them they just didn't stay gone long enough :) She pumps her milk and he takes a bottle quite well considering that he hasnt had one very often. He is 3 months old and he is fat as butter. I really enjoyed him. He is so precious to me. I took him to my prayer spot yesterday and he really seemed to like it. I walked around the garden holding him and he listened to the birds and watched the trees blowing in the wind. He is a beautiful baby.

My visiting evangelist is gone now. He will not be back for 3 months. I was able to go and hear him several nights last week. It was wonderful preaching, teaching, worship and praise!
Children are such a blessing from God. I had wanted to give birth to more children. So far, that has not happened. I am more than content to trust the Lord. He has given me a grandson and a neice to love. Blessed be the name of the Lord!

I have decided to clep some of my college courses. We shall see if I can do it!

Thats whats going on in my world!

God bless you and keep you ever nearer to His heart!

  3. I sent you an invitation, but I'm so glad I found you!!! (through Sister Brenda's blog)...it sounds like your neice is just a little sweetie pie! I love children, too and our new neighbors have a little boy and a brand new baby girl! They are about the same age as your neice and grandbaby, just in reverse! I look forward to the coming years as they grow up along beside us. It will be great fun hearing the laughter and joy next door. It has been SO needed! I am SO VERY OVERJOYED to be in touch again. I have missed hearing from you. Dad had surgery on his hand, they had to remove a bone that was worn out from arthritis and all the hard labor he's done through the years (not to mention rock laying! ha) but is doing great. He was in his flowerbeds the next DAY and mom cant keep him down! I thought you'd like to hear that. What college courses will you be taking? I'm now going to read more of your entries!!! I LOVE your pic to go with this one, too! BEAUTIFUL and so sweet.
    Blessings!

  4. What a sweet picture! I know your neice enjoys staying with you. I know your daughter is so blessed to have you help out with the baby. Have you got your garden planned out yet? I'd love to hear about it and what herbs you are going to plant. Take care~ Cary Ann
